Implementation of the monthly statement of partial unemployment due to force majeure case COVID-19

Each partial unemployment’s request which has led to an advance from ADEM must be completed by a monthly statement made by the employer or his representative. This statement enables ADEM to determine the exact amount of partial unemployment to be paid by the State

This statement is available since 15.05.2020 via MyGuichet.lu

  • Before proceeding with the statement, it is necessary to make sure that the wages’ declarations to the CCSS stating the unemployed hours and the amount paid for partial unemployment are correctly made
  • Since May 15, employers have been receiving an invitation from ADEM by email or post to proceed with the statement and a file reference number in the format CHP2020XXXXXXXXXXXX to be mentioned during the procedure
  • Statement for March available
  • Deadline for carrying out the process: 3 months following the month in which the partial unemployment occurs Example: no later than 30.06.2020 for the partial unemployment of March (after this deadline, the employer must reimburse the full amount of the advance received)
  • Data to be mentioned in the monthly statement: surname, first name, social security number of the employees/apprentices concerned by the partial unemployment
  • The employer will receive, after the processing of the application, a detailed statement of the monthly amount of the partial unemployment compensation allowance
